stripes and spots
Part of a series I'm doing of animals in balck and white. I shot them all in a kind of high-key studio style.
A sad tail
Donkeys are a common sight in Grahamstown. But they are often overworked and mistreated by their owners.

Body Suspension
This is an image from my current photostory on the middle class. John Wayne Stevens attempted to break the world record for body suspesion which stood at 8 hours. He suspended in the "Superman" position via eight hooks in his back and legs. He did not succeed in breaking the world record but doubled the South African record (held by himself) by suspending for 5 hours.

Self Portrait
A self portrait, part of a project I am working on at the moment, taken at the 1820 Settler's Monument in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa. A view of the town of Grahamstown is seen in the background.

Christmas in DC
A homeless woman sits on the sidewalk next to her trolley of belongings on Christmas Day 2010 in Washington DC. She is asking passers-by to drop money into the Starbucks cup next to her.
